Two Lives, Two Realities. A connection that is born and maintained on the fragile thread of distance. How do you build a true relationship when the other person is a presence made of words, messages and silences? An improvised theater play that weaves, in real time, the story of two protagonists, whose relationship exists exclusively in a virtual space. A work that moves between documentary and poetic imagination, just as love and loneliness oscillate between the ordinary and the extraordinary.
Each performance becomes a living constellation of letters, bodies and stories.
A shared act of discovery. A performance that is never the same twice - and yet always rooted in the same heartbeat.

About our method
"Eagerly Waiting" emerged from a process of invention that brought together two ensembles - one in Brazil and one in Greece - which worked as a single organization. They followed exactly the same rehearsals, while exploring the same material, the same structures and challenges. This mirrored approach allowed us to test, improve and finally shape the method and “score” of the work.
Its basis combines documentary sources, long-form improv and a deep investigation into personal and collective memory. The actors began by exploring real love letters, teenage diaries, digital conversations and private messages from Greece in the 1960s to São Paulo in the 1990s and until today. These materials were never used as scripts, but as emotional sources and inspirations for the characters' worlds, desires, absences and contradictions. An essential part of the method also included the exploration of archetypes, inspired by the work of Caroline Myss. Instead of fixed character profiles, the actors worked with archetypal forms, which allowed them to create characters that are both personal and timeless. This basis gave the work depth, coherence and a common dramaturgical language.
